Keeping on track with the Daniel Wellington Classic Petite

Keeping on track with the Daniel Wellington Classic Petite

I’m often asked – How do you fit everything into your day? Where do you find the time to blog? Valid questions when I work in TV (not your standard 9 to 5 job), a mummy to two little ladies and a lifestyle and travel blogger. Well let me tell you – this Curious Pixie (tries) to run her life with military precision. Believe me if I didn’t my head would surely whirl off.

Like most parents, I spin a lot of plates and inevitably slam, dunk and spectacularly smash a few too. Since Mr S and I are both working parents the kids’ (many) extra curricular activities are all shoe-horned into the weekend. It’s a lot to fit in and timekeeping is key! Especially if you want more from life than just being a weekend taxi driver. And my healthy collection of watches does help to keep me on track somewhat.

Even the rise of the smartphone, which admittedly I’m glued to hasn’t deterred me from adorning my wrist with a beautiful timepiece. Daniel Wellington, a Swedish watch brand is one of my favourites. I’ve owned a DW Classic Sheffield with a black leather strap for some time. It’s exactly what it says on the tin – classic and chic. They also offer endless possibilities with their interchangeable Daniel Wellington straps. Perfect for any occasion.

The launch of their new collection – Daniel Wellington The Classic Petite, nods to the minimal look. I have the Sterling with a black dial, 32mm in diameter which is perfect for my small wrists. The stylish lightweight mesh strap gives the watch a real retro look which is easy to dress up or down. Handy for when I get ready in a whirlwind rush (most days) with constant interruptions for homework, hair woes or to referee a sibling squabble. Time for changing accessories is pretty much non-existent!

It’s also available in Daniel Wellington rose gold, either colour can come with a white or black face. There are so many options, it can be a little hard to choose.

With its clean lines, stylised look, and quality craftsmanship the watch hasn’t left my wrist since it came into my possession. Oh and did I mention it’s water-resistant? So yes it’s enjoyed a shower with me too.

With David Beckham otherwise occupied, one of these watches would make for perfect summer arm candy. So I’m offering all my readers 15% discount with the code: THECURIOUSPIXIE15. Go treat yourself with your own watch from the Classic Petite collection or from any of the gorgeous watches from the Daniel Wellington website. It’s valid until the 15th August and to sweeten the offer they’re also offering free worldwide shipping and returns for a limited period.
